Simpatico had a very successful concert in January. Invited to return to St. Francis Church for the 3rd year in a row, we performed works by Respighi, Foote, Vivaldi, Quantz and Lewis. We were fortunate to have with us the wonderful flautist Katherine Fink who brought down the house with her beautiful virtuosic yet lyrical playing. It was a wonderful afternoon performing to a sold-out house. We are hoping to perform more – stay tuned!

I have launched a new newsletter that will keep people up to date on new works, performances and happenings associated with Darin Lewis and Lewis INK Press. If you are interested in being on the mailing list – click here

We are recording some of my newer choral works in early March – stay tuned for details and audio links.

I just finished a new choral anthem commissioned by Gunther Kilsch, entitled “A Place in the Kingdom” for SATB, soloist and piano. Based on an original text provided by Kilsch, the work is the gospel style, with opportunities to highlight both male and female sections before everyone joins in for a rousing a cappella section. The piece concludes with the piano joining back in.
